• Available Sizes: 13-, 14-, 15-, 16-, 17-, and 18-inch rim diameters. Widths range from 185 to 335mm with 60 down to 30-series profiles.
• Description: The Proxes® RA1™ is a track-proven unidirectional tire, with the attributes of being both fast and providing repeatable lap times due to its superior thermal stability. The Proxes RA1’s tread is molded to an 8/32" depth for excellent wet traction.
To achieve maximum dry traction for racing environments, the tread can be shaved to a 3/32" depth. In addition, a free-floating steel cord side ply improves both stability and transient response for improved cornering performance (construction may vary by size).
The Proxes RA1 is the Exclusive Tire for the SCCA Club Racing Spec Miata class in national competition. It is also the specified tire for several National Auto Sport Association (NASA) race classes such as American Iron, Camaro Mustang Challenge, Honda Challenge, 944 Spec, and Spec E30.
