 REASONS TIRES FAIL:

• ALIGNMENT - A good 4 wheel alignment is essential in allowing you to experience the full effects of the tire and suspension engineering of your car. It will also be the determining factor of how long your tires last.

• MISALIGNMENT -  What you will be dealing with if you neglect this step: Reduced handling on corners, reduced tire life, longer stopping distances, tire chop/road noise from misalignment, dangerous handling on wet or slippery roads and having to drive slower to stay on the road.

• AIR PRESSURE - This little problem will sneak up on you as life keeps you distracted. Correct air pressure by following the manufacturers recomendation on the vehicle will save you plenty of money in tire life and gas milage (if you buy an air gage and keep it in your car to remind you). As gas prices rise we must search for more ways to cut costs, Even Barack Obama is now a national spokesperson for checking your air pressure!

• IMPROPER INSTALLATION/SIZING - The wrong size tire on a vehicle will throw all the engineering that the automaker spent on the car right out the window. Follow the guidelines from the manufacturers and you will benefit from things you may not even have considered, like quicker cornering, rollover resistance, shorter stoping distances and power at the wheel. Also make sure the wheels you are using are the proper width for the tire size.
