Road Hazard Tire Protection Coverage - Call 1-877-458-4737 to add to your order
The Tire Club tire protection coverage is available on most tires we sell. The coverage is administered
solely through The Tire Club. See the terms below for complete information.
Road Hazard Damage:
Punctures, bruises, blowouts or impact breaks incurred during the course of normal driving on a road maintained by a state or local authority.
To obtain coverage:
Take your car to any tire service center for repair and pay for the work. You must then submit your repair bill to us for payment, call
1-877-458-4737 for information, or to start a claim. Fax the repair
receipt (must be signed by original purchaser) and a copy of your original invoice with the tire codes inscribed, to us at
1-989-235-6206 for reimbursement. We reserve the right to have a
photo faxed or emailed with the damage of the tire in question clearly
visible or a photo of the tire DOT serial number clearly visible.
What we cover:
All fixable repairs that are done including nail holes can be reimbursed up to 25.00
max per tire, per incident, once all documentation has been submitted. All tires that are rendered
non-serviceable by the damage will be replaced in accordance with the guidelines
below.
Replacement Tires:
All tires (damaged beyond repair) are covered 100% of the cost of the tire on the original
receipt, down to half tread for 3 years from the date of purchase. All tires worn below half tread will be pro-rated based on the remaining 32nd's of tread, down to 2/32's for 3 years from the date of purchase. This coverage does not include applicable taxes, labor or balancing fees.
The replacement tire must have protection coverage purchased to be eligible for future coverage. This coverage is only available in the lower 48 states. We reserve the right to deny coverage to any vehicle with a load rating greater than one ton, or a vehicle that is used off-road. This coverage does not include any damage that may be incurred to Tire Pressure monitoring systems, wheels or any other vehicle component. The coverage for a replacement tire is limited to a replacement tire from The Tire Club or a replacement tire from The Tire Club at a pro-rated cost if it is over half worn.
Exclusions:
Coverage will be excluded on any tires that have not been repaired per manufacturers guidelines, such as recapped,
retreaded, regrooved or tubed. Coverage excludes damage from collision, fire, vandalism, theft, snow chains, manufacturers defects and abuse and neglect (improper inflation, improper application, brake lock ups or wheel spinning and burnouts.) Coverage also excludes mechanical failure, such as worn chassis components, worn shocks or struts, improper alignment, out of balance and interference with vehicle components (such as shocks, springs, exhaust or any part of the vehicle).
We reserve the right to deny any claim submitted with false or misleading
information, or any claim submitted where the original purchase invoice
does not clearly identify the original purchaser, vehicle or tires.
The tire Club reserves the right to have the damaged tire in question shipped to us for further examination, should we deem it
necessary, in order to fulfill our part of the service agreement. We also reserve the right to cancel the policy by
refunding the original purchase price of the policy. If the policy is cancelled for any other reason than 1)nonpayment of the program price; 2)a material misrepresentation; or3) a substantial breach of duty by you, we will provide you with written notice at least 2 weeks before the effective cancellation date. You are not required to purchase this road hazard coverage as a condition of the purchase or for any other reason.
All claim documentation, including the tire(s) if requested, must be submitted within 60 days of service in order for your claim to be considered for reimbursement.
